Real Madrid are on the verge of announcing a new deal for Nacho Fernández until 2023, according to Madrid-based journalist Miguel Ángel Díaz.
Today marks 20 years since he joined the club. The versatile defender will be the club’s fourth captain for the 2021/22 season. He is currently the only ‘one club man’ in the squad.
The 31-year-old’s current deal with Madrid runs until 2022.
