Nabil Fekir returned to Real Betis training on Friday, the penultimate one before the visit of Atlético Madrid to the Benito Villamarín this weekend.
The Frenchman trained alongside his teammates and his intention is to be available for Manuel Pellegrini for Sunday’s clash against Diego Simeone’s side, according to AS.
After picking up an injury against Real Madrid, Fekir made his comeback but he picked up another knock in the Europa League clash against Jose Mourinho’s Roma. He missed the game against the Italians at the Benito Villamarín, as well as the league clashes against Real Valladolid, Almería and Cádiz.
Betis have some big games coming up, including the derby and the clashes with Real Sociedad and Valencia. Therefore, although Fekir’s intention is to play this Sunday, Betis do not want to rush the playmaker back.
