Papu Gómez is set to sign for Serie A club AC Monza, reports Fabrizio Romano via Sky Sport.
The Argentine playmaker, who recently plied his trade with La Liga outfit Sevilla, will move to Italy on a free transfer after a deal in principle was agreed.
The former Atalanta captain became available on deadline day after terminating his Sevilla contract with one year left on his deal and he is now set for a return to Serie A.
