Mika Faye ‘disappointed’ with situation at Barcelona

Up-and-coming Barcelona defender Mika Faye is giving consideration to seeking out a departure from the club this summer.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have on Monday provided an insight into the situation.

Faye, for his part, is understood to have made his way onto the radar of a whole host of top clubs from across Europe, ahead of next season.

Owing to his standout displays on the books of Barca Atlètic, the 19-year-old is in the sights of the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Inter Milan, and Bayern Munich.

And, if the latest word stemming from Catalunya’s capital is anything to go by, Faye, for his part, could well move to take advantage of such interest over the months ahead.

As per the aforementioned MD, the stopper has been left altogether ‘disappointed’ by recent developments at Barcelona.

The Senegalese was desperate to make his senior debut before the recently-completed season was out, having seen a whole host of Blaugrana youngsters shine on the biggest stage.

Aware of the tall task that awaits him in carving out a regular place for himself at the heart of new boss Hansi Flick’s backline next season, Faye, as a result, has a summer transfer firmly ‘in mind’.
