Speaking on FC Barcelona’s official channel, new signing Memphis Depay revealed his delight after joining the club.
“It’s finally official, I’m going to join FC Barcelona and I’m very excited about it. It’s literally a dream coming true for me, to join the biggest club in the world, with the greatest fans. I’m so excited to play for the fans in front of a full stadium. The Barca fans are very special, the way they live the game, experience the game and they love football so much. I’m just very excited to play in front of a type of crowd like that. I want to thank the whole board of Barcelona, the president and the coach for making the deal happen. I’m going to give everything for the club. I’m ready.”
