An insight into the latest efforts of the powers that be at La Liga giants Real Madrid to reinforce the club’s squad with a view to next season has this evening been forthcoming.
The info comes courtesy of transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who, speaking as part of the ‘Here We Go Podcast‘, has confirmed that the Real brass are already hard at work planning for the summer.
Front of the agenda are the ongoing negotiations for Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappé, whom it is assured all is continuing to move in the right direction for.
Next up comes Alphonso Davies of Bayern Munich, with it reiterated that the Canadian international has made clear that his priority to make the move to Madrid.
Los Blancos, in turn, are ready to do their utmost to ensure that as much comes to fruition.
Turning attentions towards the name of the day in the Spanish press, Romano has also confirmed reports that Real are expressing a keen interest in Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold.
As much comes with the England international’s terms at Anfield due to expire in the summer of 2025:
“Real Madrid have an interest in Trent Alexander-Arnold. There are also other clubs monitoring the situation but Real Madrid are always very attentive. They are always very good in these opportunities. Let’s see what happens with Liverpool.”
And last up comes confirmation that a contract renewal offer for a current member of Carlo Ancelotti’s ranks, in Andriy Lunin, is in the process of being prepared.
