Speaking to The Athletic, Real Sociedad goalkeeper Matt Ryan spoke about his team-mate and current No 1 Álex Remiro.
“He’s one of these modern-style goalkeepers, very good with the ball at his feet,” Ryan says of Remiro.
“He’s very sound between the sticks as well. We’ve been working together and trying to push one another. There’s no ill-feeling in the relationship.”
On playing with Real Sociedad
“It’s clear I want to play more regularly at [Real] Sociedad and I’ll keep on giving my all to try to have that. Come the end of the season, we’ll see where things are, but I’ve very much committed to [Real] Sociedad at the moment.”
