Mass brawl breaks out amongst construction workers at Barcelona’s Camp Nou

While Barcelona’s legendary Camp Nou stadium is currently a construction site, it has hit the headlines twice in the last week for multiple reasons.

Earlier in the week we began to hear whispers of when a return to the ground may take place, while today we heard some stranger news.

As per Mundo Deportivo, a mass brawl broke out at the stadium this afternoon amongst construction workers who are currently working to get the stadium built.

Reports indicate that around 20 workers were involved, with six people ending up with minor injuries as a result of the incident.

The workers are reportedly of Romanian and Albanian nationality, and work for subcontractors Limak, while currently staying in hotels in Calella, around 50km from the city.

This is the second time an incident of this type has taken place, with another similar occurrence back in May of this year.

Everyone involved in the incident has reportedly been removed from the site and will likely be dealt with by the company in charge.
