As reported by Mundo Deportivo, Manchester City will not part ways with Bernardo Silva for a fee less than €100 million.
In early August it was communicated that Bernardo Silva is waiting for Barcelona to make an offer for him.
However, the Blaugrana can only make a serious move for the Portuguese midfielder if they end up selling Frenkie de Jong this transfer window. Barça are trying to offload the Dutchman or reduce his wages as his current salary is a financial burden on the club, meaning they cannot register their new signings.
While Manchester City are ready to sell Bernardo Silva, they have put a €100 million price tag on him, which, as things stand, is over Barcelona’s available budget.
Even though Xavi has been in contact with the 28-year-old and Bernardo Silva is keen on joining the Blaugrana, the Catalan outfit are yet to make an offer for him.
