Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola considers Real Madrid starlet Arda Güler as the perfect addition to his squad.
This comes amid confirmation that Guardiola has been left enchanted by the yount Turk across the season to date.
Midfielder Arda is for his part of course in the midst of something of a breakout campaign in Spain’s capital.
Finally afforded a consistent run of starts by new manager Xabi Alonso, the 20-year-old has grasped the opportunity with both hands.
Shining from a deeper berth, Arda has featured from the off on 14 occasions, chipping in with three goals and six assists along the way.
And such ongoing excellence, as alluded to above, has not gone unnoticed in England.
As per a report from Fichajes:
‘Pep Guardiola sees Arda Güler as a unique player, capable of changing the rhythm of a match with a touch, a pause, or a precise dribble. Sources close to the manager say he is “enchanted” by his talent and believes he would fit perfectly into his system.’
Man City, it is claimed, would be willing to fork over a sum in the region of €100 million to bring Arda in for next season.
Real Madrid, however, have long made clear that their engine room sensation is not for sale at any price.
