Luiz Henrique looks for World Cup call-up

Luiz Henrique is keen to make it to the final list of players going to the World Cup to represent Brazil, report Marca.

The 21-year-old is having a great season with Real Betis. The injuries of Nabil Fekir and Juanmi has allowed Luiz Henrique to establish himself as a regular in Manuel Pellegrini’s starting XI.

So far this season the Brazilian winger has made 15 appearances in all competitions, in which he has scored two goals and made three assists. His performance against José Mourinho’s AS Roma caught the attention of Tite, who chose to include him in the 55-man pre-list for the World Cup.

While it is very unlikely that Luiz Henrique will make it to the final squad going to Qatar, his addition to the pre-list goes to show that he has adapted well to European football and has given him the opportunity to get called up if any of the selected players get injured.
