Luis Enrique prepares for life at PSG

Luis Enrique is preparing for life at PSG. The former Spain head coach is set for a return to club management and will succeed Christophe Galtier at the Parc des Princes in the coming days.

According to AS via Le Parisien, the coach from Asturias spent the last two days in Paris and visited the club’s new training centre in Poissy, Yvelines.

PSG have not yet made the appointment of Luis Enrique official as they continue to work on the severance package for the outgoing Galtier.

The current coach of the French champions is contracted at the club until 30 June 2024 but is set to depart with Luis Enrique coming in to shake things up.

L’Équipe believe that the former Barcelona coach’s arrival won’t be confirmed until Saturday 1 July at the earliest.

The PSG players were initially meant to return on Tuesday 4 July, but this date has changed multiple times. Internal sources now believe that the start of the club’s pre-season will be on 10 July.
