Luis Enrique has Manchester United offer on the table

Manchester United have submitted an offer to Luis Enrique to make him the club’s next head coach, reveal AS.

The Royal Spanish Football Federation have every right to think that the Asturian will walk away from the Spanish national team following the World Cup as he has chosen not to renew his annual salary worth €3.5m.

It is believed that Luis Enrique has offers to manage two clubs, Manchester United and Atlético Madrid.

The Red Devils have been struggling with Erik ten Hag, with the club sitting only fifth in the Premier League table and outside of the Champions League places. The Dutchman also has a strained relationship with club legend Cristiano Ronaldo.

Luis Enrique has a proven track record as a coach. He won the Champions League and Club World Cup with Barcelona in 2015 and led Spain to the Nations League final in 2021.
