After holding contract talks with Lucas Vázquez, Real Madrid have made the versatile player an improved offer of €5 million per season as part of a three-year extension deal. There will also be the possibility of a one-year extension for the player who joined the Primera outfit in 2007, according to AS.

Madrid had previously offered the same deal to Vázquez with a 10% salary cut that has been applied to all players in the squad as a result of loss of income from the coronavirus pandemic.

The 29-year-old has always said that he wants to stay with Los Blancos. The Spanish international has reportedly attracted interested from Bayern Munich and PSG after a 2020/21 season.
