A sidelined member of the defensive ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is expected to be cleared for a return to competitive action at some point next month.
That’s according to Marca, who highlight Éder Militão as the player in question.
Stopper Militão has for his part been sidelined since all the way back in April of this year. In another setback amid what have been a challenging last few years for the Brazilian on the fitness front, the former Porto man suffered a ruptured muscle in his hamstring.
Militão, as a result, was forced under the knife, and has spent the months since working tirelessly towards taking his place back on the pitch.
And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the Spanish media is anything to go by, then precisely as much does not appear to be at all far away from coming to fruition…
As per a report from Marca:
‘His estimated recovery time was five months, so the player is now in the final stretch. His return will depend on how he progresses in training alongside his teammates and the time he needs to reach peak fitness to rejoin the team, but it should be this October.’
