A member of the attacking ranks at Premier League leaders has set his sights firmly on a summer move to La Liga with Barcelona.
That’s according to journalist Jose Alvarez Haya of El Chiringuito TV, who points towards Luis Díaz as the player in question.
Díaz, of course, has been tipped as a potential arrival in Catalunya’s capital for some time now.
Amid an ongoing search for reinforcements out wide, Deco and the Barcelona transfer team are understood to have earmarked the former Porto man as a leading target.
And, if the latest word stemming from the media on Wednesday is anything to go by, then interest in a joining of forces between the parties is very much mutual.
As per a report from the aforementioned Jose Alvarez Haya, in fact:
‘Luis Díaz has offered himself to Barca. His agents have told Deco that he is open to arriving this summer.’
It now remains to be seen if the Camp Nou brass can scrape together the no doubt considerable sum demanded by Liverpool for their attacking star.
