Levante star in sights of Strasbourg

A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga outfit Levante has emerged as a summer transfer target on the part of Ligue 1 side Strasbourg.

This comes amid the understanding that the impressive exploits of youngster Carlos Espí have not gone unnoticed at the Stade de la Meinau.

Striker Espí has for his part emerged as one of the breakthrough talents of Spanish football across the season to date.

On the books of relegation-battling Levante, the 20-year-old has racked up a head-turning 11 goals in 25 appearances between La Liga and the Copa del Rey.

Such impressive numbers at such a young age have piqued the attentions of a whole host of clubs across Spain and beyond.

And as alluded to above, this week, the identity of one such potential summer suitor for Espí has been revealed.

As per a report from journalist Matteo Moretto:

‘Strasbourg are studying the profile of Carlos Espí, from Levante, whose price is around 25 million.’
