Leny Yoro’s stance on Real Madrid switch confirmed

An insight into the stance of LOSC Lille talent Leny Yoro, when it comes to a potential move to Spain with Real Madrid, has this evening been forthcoming.

And the news will no doubt be met with widespread excitement on the part of the Real faithful.

This comes amid confirmation that Yoro has no doubt in his mind – he wants to link up with the La Liga table-toppers.

As per a report from Marca, ‘many call, but the player’s desire is to wear Real Madrid white’.

The powers that be at the Santiago Bernabéu have long concluded that Yoro stands as one of, if not European football’s standout young defender.

Despite the predicted arrivals of both Kylian Mbappé and Alphonso Davies in the summer, Florentino Pérez and co. have therefore decided that the 18-year-old, too, will be sought out as a ‘priority’ signing.

In a boost to Real’s chances of striking a deal, meanwhile, it is added that the Lille hierarchy have made clear to Paris Saint-Germain – the other leading suitors for Yoro – that they will not sell to a Ligue 1 rival.

The Spanish giants therefore appear to have carved out a clear run at the signature of the 18-year-old, albeit whilst, at present, not prepared to cough up the hefty asking price outlined by Lille.

With Yoro’s current terms at The Stade Pierre-Mauroy set to come to an end in the summer of 2025, and the player himself unwavering in his commitment to sealing a move to the Bernabéu, though, Real are confident that a compromise will, in the end, be found.
