Las Palmas announce deal for Wolves star

La Liga outfit Las Palmas have announced a deadline day addition to the club’s attacking ranks.

The player to have put pen to paper on terms with Los Amarillos? Fábio Silva.

Fresh off yet another loan spell away from parent club Wolverhampton Wanderers last season, frontman Silva was widely expected to be on the move once more before the summer was out.

The Portuguese youth international spent the last couple of seasons plying his trade in the likes of Belgium, the Netherlands, and Scotland.

And, as alluded to above, in 2024/25, Silva will experience football in yet another leading European league.

This comes with the 22-year-old having agreed to line out for the aforementioned Las Palmas, for the coming 12 months.

As per a statement across the website and social media platforms of the Gran Canaria based outfit:

‘Fábio Silva (19/07/2002, Portugal) will reinforce the attacking line until June 30, 2025. The Portuguese arrives at UD Las Palmas on loan, following the agreement reached with Wolverhampton and the player.’
