La Liga Team of the Week | Round 4

Matchday 4 in La Liga produced some intriguing contests and impressive performances over the weekend.

Real Madrid beat Real Betis in the top-of-the-table clash at the Santiago Bernabéu. Vinicius and Rodrygo were both on the scoresheet for Los Blancos on their return to the Santiago Bernabéu.

Aurélien Tchouaméni Looks more and more at home at the base of Madrid’s midfield, winning16 of his 19 duels against Betis. The young Frenchman is a defensive colossus and more than capable in build-up.

New Barcelona signings Jules Koundé and Raphinha helped inspire the Blaugrana to victory over a struggling Sevilla in Andalusia.

Toni Lato captained Valencia to an impressive 5-1 win over Getafe at Mestalla on Sunday. USMNT midfielder Yunus Musah was impressive in the engine room for Gennaro Gattuso’s side and earns a place in Marca’s best XI of the weekend.

There was also a place in the team of the week for Celta Vigo forward Iago Aspas, who is hoping to break into Luis Enrique’s Spain squad.

Aspas helped the Galician outfit to a home win over Cádiz with a second-half brace.
