La Liga starlet reveals Barcelona transfer wish

Las Palmas starlet Alberto Moleiro has this weekend revealed his interest in securing a future move to Barcelona.

Moleiro, for his part, is in the midst of a superb start to the new campaign.

Continuing to act as one of the first names on the team sheet of boss Diego Martínez Penas, the attacker, still just 21, has featured from the off in all but one of Las Palmas’ La Liga outings.

Along the way, Moleiro has chipped in with a none-too-shabby four goals, shining chiefly from the left flank.

Such excellence on the part of the Spanish youth international has given rise to widespread interest in his signature, with Saudi Pro League heavyweights Al-Hilal, for one, understood to be keeping a close eye on his situation.

As alluded to above, though, if the latest comments on the part of Moleiro himself are anything to go by, then he has his sights set elsewhere.

Speaking to the media whilst on international duty with Spain’s U21s, the Las Palmas talent pointed towards ‘a club like Barcelona’ as his desired landing spot:

“I am very happy at Las Palmas and I am not thinking about leaving, but I hope in the future to be at a big club like Barcelona.”
