La Liga quartet eyeing summer move for Iker Losada

No fewer than four La Liga clubs have identified Racing de Ferrol star Iker Losada as a leading transfer target ahead of the summer.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have this week provided an insight into the situation.

Attacker Losada, for his part, is fresh off a fine season, in Spain’s 2nd tier.

All told, across 41 appearances in the colours of the aforementioned Racing de Ferrol, the 22-year-old racked up a head-turning nine goals, and seven assists.

And, evidently, such production did not go at all unappreciated across the La Liga landscape.

As per a report from the aforementioned MD, all of Getafe, Celta Vigo, Mallorca and Alavés are currently ‘studying’ the Losada option, with a view to 2024/25.

The winger’s contract with Racing is understood to contain a release clause set at just €1.8 million, the activation of which is beginning to look a near certainty at some point over the months ahead.
