A fresh insight into Kylian Mbappé’s imminent move to Spanish giants Real Madrid has been provided late this evening.
The info comes courtesy of Santi Aouna of French outlet Foot Mercato, who points towards official confirmation of frontman Mbappé’s Paris Saint-Germain departure being expected at any moment.
It is of course common knowledge across Europe that France’s captain has come to the decision to leave Paris in the rear view this summer, upon the expiration of his contract.
Long-time suitors Real Madrid, in turn, have reignited negotiations with both Mbappé, and his entourage, over the terms of a pre-contract with a view to next season.
And, with such talks primed to bear fruit imminently, both PSG, and the club’s talisman, are preparing an announcement.
As per the aforementioned Santi Aouna:
‘A joint official communication from the player and the club is expected’ over the coming weeks, or potentially even days.
Not only that, but an insight into the squad number most likely to be handed to Mbappé as part of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, too, has been forthcoming.
After Real offered their no.1 attacking target the no.10 shirt upon first coming close to his signing back in 2022, they are expected to do likewise once more this time round.
This comes with Mbappé’s favoured jersey, the 7, currently held by soon-to-be attacking partner in crime Vinícius Jr.
