An update on the wellbeing of Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has early this week come to the fore online. And the news will no doubt come as a source of relief to those of a Blancos persuasion…
Frontman Mbappé for his part sparked widespread concern in Spain’s capital late last month, upon limping out of national team duty with France.
An ensuing round of medical checks ruled out a serious injury, but nevertheless culminated in the 27-year-old being sent back to base in Madrid.
Mbappé was from here cleared by those at Valdebebas to depart for a week-long vacation. On Monday, though, the prolific goalscorer was back in the thick of things on the training pitch.
And if the latest word stemming from the Spanish media is anything to go by, then all signs now appear to point towards Mbappé featuring from the off in Real Madrid’s post-international break return to action.
As per a report from Diario AS:
‘His knee injury will not prevent him from playing against Villarreal. He is expected to start.’
