Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has moved to throw his public backing behind teammate Jude Bellingham.
This comes amid what has proven a quiet start to the campaign in front of goal for the England international.
Bellingham, of course, enjoyed nothing short of a remarkable debut season in Spain’s capital in 2023/24.
En route to clinching La Liga Player of the Season honours, the 21-year-old dazzled in the final third in particular, finding the net on a hefty 23 occasions.
Safe to say, then, that his lack of production in front of goal to this point in the new term has not gone at all unnoticed across the continent.
Bellingham is yet to get off the mark in the goals column in 2024/25, having been shifted into a deeper role by boss Carlo Ancelotti.
After missing a number of presentable opportunities in front of goal against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night, the former BVB standout therefore took to social media post-match, to write:
‘Finishing practice for me tomorrow’
Quick to throw his support behind his stuttering teammate, as alluded to above, though, was Kylian Mbappé.
In a direct response to Bellingham’s caption, frontman Mbappé added:
‘It’s gonna come really soon don’t worry’
