Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé on Wednesday appeared to hint that he would be keen to link up with compatriot Dayot Upamecano at club level.
This came by way of a round of comments provided to the media during a press conference.
Drawn on defender Upamecano’s transfer links with La Liga leaders Real whilst on national team duty with France, Mbappé explained:
“Upamecano plays for a big club… and there aren’t many bigger, but there are bigger ones. I can only say… when you talk about a player like him, all clubs will want him.
“He’s in the discussion of the best defenders in the world this season.”
Stopper Upamecano is of course a man in demand across Europe at present.
In the midst of a stellar inividual campaign on the books of Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, the 27-year-old is as things stand due to depart upon the term’s close, upon the expiration of his contract terms.
