Kylian Mbappé included as Real Madrid name star-studded XI for Super Cup

The XI of players set to take to the pitch for La Liga giants Real Madrid in tonight’s UEFA Super Cup has been unveiled online.

And it features one name in particular which will no doubt spark widespread excitement across the club’s fanbase.

This comes with Carlo Ancelotti having opted to throw star summer signing Kylian Mbappé straight in from the off, on his competitive debut.

The Frenchman is joined in a head-turning front three by Brazilian duo Vinícius Jr, and Rodrygo.

Looking back into midfield, Eduardo Camavinga’s injury leaves Aurélien Tchouaméni as an undisputed starter, joined in a stellar engine room setup by Jude Bellingham, and Federico Valverde.

And manning the backline for the Spanish champions against an always-dangerous Atalanta will be the quartet of Dani Carvajal, Éder Militão, Antonio Rüdiger, and Ferland Mendy.

Finally, Thibaut Courtois, as expected, edges out Andriy Lunin to take his place between the posts.
