Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé levelled Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal in a goalscoring category during the club’s latest outing.
Both striker Mbappé and wide-man Lamine were of course on target on Sunday, as part of the penultimate round of fixtures in the La Liga season.
The latter found the net in spectacular fashion from outside the area during the first-half of Barcelona’s defeat at the hands of Villarreal.
And as much was followed by Mbappé adding his 41st goal of an impressive debut campaign in Spain en route to a 2-0 downing of Sevilla.
The Frenchman, too, netted from distance, driving home a pinpoint effort from 20+ yards.
And as alluded to above, in the process, Mbappé joined Lamine as joint-leader in a noteworthy goalscoring category.
As per statisticians Opta:
‘Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé has scored seven goals from outside the box this season in all competitions, the joint-highest tally by a player in Top 5 European leagues this season, alongside Lamine Yamal for FC Barcelona.’
