“The team tried hard. We started very well, but in a play without danger, they scored a goal. We tried. We lost two points, but we are still first and we depend on ourselves. We have injuries, but we have a great squad. The team is strong and we are still leading, which is the most important thing today. If we remain strong-minded, we will reach our target.”
Atlético returned to the top of LaLiga with the 1-1 draw against Betis and sit one point above rivals Real Madrid in second place.
