Key Real Madrid star to be declared fit for Celta Vigo clash

Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr. is set to be declared fit and ready to feature in the club’s upcoming meeting with Celta Vigo.

That’s according to Diario AS, who have on Wednesday provided an update on the wellbeing of the explosive winger.

Vinícius, for his part, was last week forced to pull out of international duty, with Brazil.

This came owing to a neck injury, suffered during Real Madrid’s 2-0 downing of Villarreal leading into the international break.

The 24-year-old, in turn, has spent the time since undergoing a personalised treatment programme in Spain’s capital, with a view to returning to the pitch as soon as possible.

And, as alluded to above, as much, evidently, has done the trick.

As per a report from AS, Vinícius took full part in the double training session at Valdebebas on Wednesday, alongside the rest of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

Though he is still suffering with some degree of discomfort in his neck, it is therefore assured that ‘the Brazilian will be at Balaídos this Saturday,’ to face Celta Vigo.
