A leading member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid looks set to be forced under the knife this summer.
That’s according to Marca, who point towards Jude Bellingham as the player in question.
Bellingham, for his part, has long been playing whilst some way short of full fitness. This comes owing to a shoulder injury, which has seen the England international suffer a series of relapses over the course of the last 18 months.
Bellingham, when taking to the pitch, sports heavy padding on the shoulder in question, no doubt hampering his mobility to at least some degree.
In turn, it should perhaps not come as a major surprise to hear of those behind the scenes in Spain’s capital at last preparing to green light surgery for their engine room star.
As per a report from Marca:
‘It’s never a good time, but everything points to it being this coming summer when he’ll have surgery.’
