Kasper Dolberg to join Hoffenheim

Kasper Dolberg is set to leave Sevilla and join Hoffenheim, report AS.

The Danish forward arrived from Nice on loan this past summer with high hopes. However, he failed to fulfill expectations and was not able to establish himself as a regular starter in the autumn. Dolberg only managed to accumulate 303 minutes in a Sevilla shirt in eight games before the international break and he failed to score a single goal.

Last week it was communicated that Los Nervionenses were looking for a way to terminate the 25-year-old’s loan spell. It appears as though the Andalucían outfit have managed seal the deal with Nice and Dolberg is expected to join Hoffenheim for the rest of the season.

Sevilla currently find themselves in the relegation zone in La Liga and will most likely use the January transfer window to find a new striker that could help them move up the table.
