Kasper Dolberg on Sevilla’s poor start: “We will turn things around and get wins.”

Kasper Dolberg joined Sevilla on loan from Nice in the summer transfer window.

Even though they had a poor start to the season, Dolberg is optimistic that Sevilla can turn things around after the international break:

“After the break we will start winning games and everything will stabilise. Obviously, first you have to find your way and dominate everything. The last few weeks have been a bit hectic. But I’m sure that after the international break we will turn things around and get wins.”

Despite only making the odd appearance here and there so far this season, the 24-year-old feels part of Julen Lopetegui’s project:

“I have the feeling that little by little I’m getting closer to the starting lineup. It’s time to get fit and understand what the coach wants from me. I’ve had good conversations with him and I feel very involved.”

In the interview which appeared in Mundo Deportivo, Dolberg also revealed that he wants to stay at Sevilla after his loan deal expires:

“Yes, of course I hope to continue, I changed teams for a reason.”
