Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema was the victim of a robbery at his Madrid home on Sunday.
The incident took place while he was playing for Madrid against Elche at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium in Madrid on Sunday, police said on Monday.
The police said the robbery took place between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. CET time at the player’s empty home in the Madrid suburbs, before the France international and his family returned home after Madrid’s 2-2 draw.
