Real Madrid legend Karim Benzema has taken to social media, to show his support for former teammate and current Blancos star Vinícius Jr.
This of course comes fresh off a match-winning performance on the part of the Brazilian on Sunday.
Real Madrid were back in action yesterday evening, making the trip to Barcelona for a La Liga meeting with Espanyol.
The aforementioned Vinícius featured from the off in the matchup, amid the ongoing absence of attacking partner-in-crime Kylian Mbappé.
And the 25-year-old went on to prove himself the undisputed star of the show.
En route to Man of the Match honours at the RCDE Stadium, Vinícius bagged both Real Madrid goals in a 2-0 triumph.
Messages of praise have, in turn, since come flooding in for Viní from across the world of football.
And as alluded to above, amongst the more high-profile names to reveal his appreciation for the winger was ex-teammate Karim Benzema.
Taking to his official Instagram account, frontman Benzema commented ‘N1’ under a photo of Vinícius:
