Former Real Madrid star Karim Benzema has on Sunday provided his prediction for the upcoming Madrid Derby.
The headline fixture of the La Liga weekend is of course set to play out in the Spanish capital, later tonight.
As much will see Atlético act as hosts, in a showdown with city rivals and reigning La Liga champions Real Madrid.
It is the latter who will head into proceedings boasting narrow favourite status, in the knowledge that a victory would see them close to within a point of table-topping Barcelona.
And one individual of the opinion that, when all is said and done, it will indeed be Carlo Ancelotti’s Real who emerge from the Metropolitano triumphant comes in the form of Karim Benzema.
Speaking during an exchange with SNAP GOAL (via Madrid Zone on ‘X’) on Sunday, ex-Blancos frontman Benzema was asked for his take on the upcoming Madrid Derby.
And the Al-Ittihad standout showed little hesitation in responding:
