Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has taken to social media, to reveal his appreciation for the latest efforts of teammate and midfield partner Luka Modrić.
This comes after Modrić was responsible for another engine room masterclass, in the club’s latest outing.
Real Madrid were of course back in action on Saturday night, making the trip to Catalunya for a La Liga meeting with Girona.
When all was said and done, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops emerged dominant victors, bouncing back from defeat at the hands of Athletic Club in midweek by way of a 3-0 triumph.
Post-match, it was the likes of goalscorers Jude Bellingham and Arda Güler who stole the headlines in the media.
Keeping things ticking over in the middle of the park in nothing short of wonderful fashion over the 90 minutes at the Estadi Montilivi, though, was the aforementioned Luka Modrić.
Rolling back the years, the 39-year-old, in fact, became the first midfielder across the La Liga season to date to complete 100+ passes in a single fixture.
And one individual who was quick to make his appreciation for such endeavours clear post-match, as alluded to above, was Jude Bellingham.
Taking to his official Instagram account, midfielder Bellingham unveiled a photo of he and Modrić, accompanied by the caption:
‘The MVP of MVPs’
