Jude Bellingham reveals he planned out goal vs Atalanta with Real Madrid teammate before kick-off

Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has provided an insight into the process which ultimately culminated in the Englishman adding to his goalscoring tally for the season once more on Tuesday.

Real were of course back in action on the continent last night, making the trip to Italy for a Champions League showdown with Atalanta.

When all was said and done, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops emerged on the right side of a 3-2 result, in the process snapping a nine-game win streak on Atalanta’s part.

And the aforementioned Bellingham, for his part, was amongst the goals once more, making it five in his last six appearances across all competitions courtesy of a fine strike.

As much, though, did not come by chance…

Speaking to the media post-match, Real Madrid’s midfield talisman provided an insight into a conversation between he and teammate Brahim Díaz, which ultimately played a crucial role in opening up the space for the Spanish champions’ 3rd of the clash:

“My goal? Brahim and I talked before that he would go inside and I’d use the space behind the full-back. It worked out well and I managed to score.”
