Jude Bellingham prioritises move to Real Madrid

Jude Bellingham’s preferred destination would be Real Madrid, report AS.

The 19-year-old has been linked with a move to the Spanish capital for the last couple of months, but questions were raised whether the European champions would have the budget to pay at least his €150m release clause and compete with the financial might of Premier League clubs.

However, earlier this month it was reported that Liverpool have set their eyes on Argentine World Cup winner Enzo Fernández. Due to their good relationship with Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund may also be willing to reduce Bellingham’s price tag to €120m if the player wishes to play at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu. Los Blancos would most likely be able to meet this figure as they still have money left over from the sale of Casemiro to Manchester United.

The England intentional would be signed as Luka Modrić’s long-term replacement, and Real Madrid’s board would want the two midfielders to play together at least one season before the Croatian’s predicted retirement in 2024.
