Jude Bellingham has today cleared all doubt and Real Madrid are confident he will be there for El Clásico on Saturday.
The Englishman left the pitch in the 89th minute in yesterday’s Champions League game against Braga, citing a slight discomfort in his groin as the reason.
As reported by AS, the Los Blancos medical staff wanted to give him today and tomorrow before making a decision on whether he can play on Saturday. The signs in training today however were that Bellingham did not notice any pain and as such the club are feeling that he will be available for the showcase occasion versus Barcelona.
Bellingham will be essential against Real’s rivals. The 20-year-old left the field of play yesterday after bagging his 11th goal of the season and putting in another strong display.
Real Madrid currently top of La Liga with 25 points but Barcelona are only one point away on 24. El Clásico will be an early indication as to who is looking stronger in the race for the league title this season.
