Real Madrid star Joselu made use of the opportunity to pay a celebratory tribute to teammate Jude Bellingham, on Sunday evening.
Real, of course, are currently locked in action.
Late in proceedings in a La Liga trip to Rayo Vallecano, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops are locked at a goal apiece, after the aforementioned Joselu’s opener was cancelled out by Raúl de Tomás just shy of the half-hour mark.
And, as alluded to above, after finding the net inside the opening three minutes at the Estadio de Vallecas, hitman Joselu took the opportunity to pay a quick tribute to Jude Bellingham.
Upon sliding home Federico Valverde’s pinpoint delivery from the right flank, the Espanyol loanee wheeled away towards the corner flag.
And, from here, Joselu spread his arms wide in the air, imitating the trademark goalscoring celebration of the sidelined Bellingham.
This comes just days on from fellow Real star Brahim Díaz doing likewise, after notching the only goal of the game in Los Blancos’ Champions League Last-16 first-leg downing of RB Leipzig.
