José Luis Mendilibar will leave Eibar at the end of the season, after the club were relegated from Spain’s top flight on Sunday, according to Marca.
Eibar’s relegation will bring with it a number of consequences in the form of departures. Mendilibar will take his seat in the dugout at Ipurua for the last time on Saturday as his side host Barcelona.
The Zaldíbar-born coach had decided to leave the club at the end of the season, regardless of what happened in the final stretch of the LaLiga season, and his departure after six years will be made official this week.
