Former Barcelona star João Cancelo has this weekend unveiled a video, showcasing a gift sent his way by the Blaugrana brass.
Defender Cancelo of course spent the 2023/24 campaign plying his trade in Catalunya’s capital.
Under the watch of then-manager Xavi, the Portuguese played a leading role, racking up four goals and five assists in 42 appearances across all competitions.
In the end, as much did not prove quite enough to convince Deco and co. to make his signing a permanent one, with Manchester City having been demanding a premium fee for their versatile full-back.
As alluded to above, though, relations between club and player evidently nevertheless remain in a good place.
Taking to his official Instagram account this weekend, Cancelo unveiled a video of the unboxing of a personal gift sent his way by Barcelona.
The offering in question came in the form of a limited edition Travis Scott ‘Cactus Jack’ jersey, worn during last weekend’s El Clásico.
Also featuring on the shirt are the name and number of the Al-Hilal star.
