Javier Tebas is the La Liga president and a self-proclaimed Real Madrid fan, so it should come as no shock that he wants Kylian Mbappé to play in his league and for his favourite team.
According to Relevo, the Spaniard was speaking at the opening of the La Liga Promises tournament this weekend and said “I hope his future is at Real Madrid”. He was of course speaking about Mbappé and a potential move to Real Madrid.
Tebas said that he doesn’t see Mbappé staying at PSG this summer and is waiting for the French star to sign for Madrid.
Mbappé coming to Real would be a hugely significant step for La Liga. The popularity of the league has decreased since its two main attractions, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, left to play elsewhere.
The potential signing of PSG’s main man would be a massive step in the right direction to re-establish La Liga as one of the powerhouses of world football.
