Federico Valverde was the player chosen from Real Madrid to face the media ahead of his club’s trip to Bergamo to face Atalanta in the Champions League tomorrow night.
The midfielder didn’t mince his words when talking about Real Madrid’s poor form which has left them in 24th place in the UCL standings.
As per Marca, the 26-year-old said “It’s f**ked up, obviously. Because we’re not used to going through this kind of form; we’re always on top.“

Real’s opposition tomorrow night are sitting pretty in 5th place meanwhile, in one of the coveted top 8 spots which ensure passage straight to the last 16 without having to go through a playoff.
Gasperini’s men will be keen on keeping hold of this position in order to reduce fixture congestion in the New Year, while Los Blancos face an uphill battle to break into the top 8.
