Isco sits out training ahead of Real Betis vs Valencia

A headline member of the midfield ranks at La Liga outfit Real Betis did not partake in group training alongside the rest of the club’s squad on Tuesday.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Heliópolis.

The player to have missed out on Tuesday afternoon comes in the form of Isco.

Former Real Madrid man Isco, for his part, featured from the off over the weekend, notching his 6th assist of the season en route to Betis’ 2-1 downing of Celta Vigo.

A pivotal member of boss Manuel Pellegrini’s squad, it therefore no doubt represented a source of concern for the Verdiblancos faithful to hear that the 31-year-old was put through an individualised indoor training session.

Betis’ supporters, though, need not fret.

This comes amid further confirmation on the part of MD that as much did not come owing to any kind of notable injury.

Isco, as a result, is expected to be available to feature from the off on Saturday evening, against Valencia.
