Isco seen back in Real Betis training for the first time in six months

It feels like a lifetime since Isco suffered an ankle injury when playing for Real Betis against Las Palmas back in May. The midfield veteran just seemed to be getting his career back on track when he was struck down by injury.

Now, six months on, we have the first positive news for the 32-year-old with regard to his return to action and recovery from injury.

As per ElDesmarque, Isco was spotted training on the ball for the first time since the incident, as he took part in Real Betis’ Monday training session.

The man from Malaga was all smiles in training, although he still hasn’t returned to full training with his teammates, that will hopefully come before the end of the year.

With nine goals and seven assists for Betis during the last La Liga campaign, fans of the club will be hopeful to see Isco back in their team’s lineup as quickly as possible.

It would certainly seem the light at the end of the tunnel is rapidly approaching for Isco, and hopefully, we will see him back in action in the Spanish top flight sooner rather than later.
