Isco linked with a move to Julen Lopetegui’s Wolves

Julen Lopetegui wants to bring Isco to the Molineux Stadium, report AS.

The 30-year-old arrived to Los Nervionenses this past summer on a free transfer from Real Madrid. However, he has failed to fulfill expectations at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán and has fallen out of favour following the sacking of Julen Lopetegui and the appointment of Jorge Sampaoli.

Isco is not part of Sampaoli’s plans at Sevilla and the club are keen to offload him during the January transfer window in order to reduce their wage bill and sign players that could help them move out of the relegation zone.

It is believed that Lopetegui wants to bring Isco to the Premier League and has asked Wolves’ board to try sign him in the new year.

Even though both Arsenal and Tottenham are also interested securing the services of the Spaniard, Isco’s good relationship with Lopetegui could help convince the player to join Wolves instead.
