Humorous footage of developments in Milan in the buildup to this evening’s Champions League showdown between Inter and Atlético Madrid has come to the fore online.
One of Tuesday’s two continental fixtures is set to play out at San Siro in a few hours’ time.
The matchup in question will see the aforementioned Inter play host to Diego Simeone’s Atlético, in the first leg of the Last-16 tie between the clubs.
The former, for their part, are in the midst of a scintillating stretch of form at present, having rattled off eight successive wins across all competitions.
Safe to say, then, that visitors Atlético will require all the help that they can get, in the hopes of emerging from Lombardy with something to hold onto for the return leg in three weeks’ time.
The Rojiblancos faithful, in turn, have travelled to Italy in their droves, to afford their side a helping hand.
And, on Tuesday afternoon, such supporters took over a square in the heart of Milan, providing an early show of support to Simeone’s troops by way of booming chants of ‘Atléti! Atléti!’
Their Inter counterparts, though, came well prepared to respond…
