Inter Milan remain in talks over move for Atlético Madrid forward Álvaro Morata

Álvaro Morata’s agents are still in Milan and on Wednesday continued negotiating with Inter Milan, whose offer is the most concrete among the Italian clubs interested in the striker, according to AS.

As it stands, Inter’s offer has been lower than the €21m wanted by Atleti, as it would be around €15m between including add-ons.

Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is keen on adding Morata to his forward line, and he has experience playing in Serie A after his spell at Juventus.

AC Milan are reportedly withdrawing their interest in the Spain international, who recently signed a new deal at the Metropolitano until 2026, while a return to Juve, who have a special relationship with the forward, still cannot be ruled out.

Juventus directors have also been in talks over a move for Romelu Lukaku.
